Details:   Presented by ABATE of California. Benefits ABATE's continuing efforts to fight anti-motorcycle legislation. The ABATE State Run is a weekend camp-out for those who are interested in having fun with like-minded folks who enjoy fresh air, the mountains, and proximity to water. There is tent & RV camping on the banks of the Kern River. Many participants in the past have taken advantage of camping on the Kern River to get in some quality fishing time. Live entertainment, vendors, contests, and also an around the lake Poker Run which pays dividends to Hi & Lo hands. This is a not a run of corporate excess but rather an old-fashioned biker party and run where bikers can come together for a week-end of fun and fellowship and at the same time help raise funds necessary to carry out the work ABATE performs on behalf of California's motorcyclists. There will also be a 2010 FXDC Dyna Super Wide Glide Custom raffled off on Saturday, the 18th.

Veterans Memorial Poker Run

Details:   Presented by Oroville Veterans Memorial Park Committee. The event helps fund the ongoing construction of a veterans memorial wall and park honoring our veterans. Free donuts and coffee. Riders will receive maps and can begin to depart as early as 8:30am. The course starts at the Feather Falls Casino in Oroville, winds through the historic gold country of the Sierra foothills and ends back at the casino. Riders are encouraged to take their time and enjoy the stops and scenery. Riders don't need to get back to the casino until 5pm. At the Feather Falls Casino, awards and live music featuring the Cross Roads Band will be from 5pm - 7pm. Discount rooms, food and beverages are available along with free casino play money. There will be Cash prizes of $500 for the high hand and $300 for the low hand along with other prizes and raffles. It's $25/$15 for rider/passenger. Included are ride tee shirts for rider and passenger while they last along with ride pins for the rider.

Shower and bathrooms are supplied. There will be some sort of food truck there on Saturday but might be smart to bring some food if possible. This is a 21 and over event, sorry minors.
